Following a successful trade mission to China at the end of October, Gibbs Investment has confirmed plans to return to the country.
Gibbs Investment owner and chairman Phil Gibbs will use the visit to continue discussions that began during the UKTI-sponsored mission. With a busy schedule already in place, Gibbs is set to meet a range of potential strategic partners as he explores, in detail, a number of collaboration opportunities.
“The decision to return to China so soon after the October visit was taken so that we could capitalise on the momentum established through the earlier trip,” explains Gibbs. “Our involvement in the UKTI mission yielded opportunities around many exciting business ventures, but t was essential to return quickly so that we could pick these conversations back up with our colleagues in China.”
The return visit follows the recent opening Gibbs Investment’s new office in Hong Kong, which has been established to assist Chinese clients looking to invest in the UK property market. To support the new office, the firm has assembled a team of specialist professional service providers in China, including accountants, lawyers and immigration advisers.
